Description

A perfect balance of sweet and tart with a delightful crunch, these Raspberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars are comforting and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raspberry jam or fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the base.
  5. Spread raspberry jam or fresh raspberries evenly over the base.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the raspberry layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow them to cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy the goodness!
