Description
Easy and chewy Peanut Butter Lunch Lady Bars that blend creamy peanut butter with sweetness, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until fully combined.
- If you’re feeling extra indulgent, fold in the chocolate chips at this stage for a delightful twist.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan, making sure to reach the edges.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For best flavor, allow bars to come to room temperature before serving. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
