Description

A deliciously sweet quesadilla filled with creamy cheese and fresh blueberries, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large wheat flour tortilla
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter or cooking spray (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Start by letting your cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the blueberries: Gently rinse the blueberries under cool water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Spread the cream cheese evenly over one half of the tortilla.
  4. Add the blueberries on top of the cream cheese, drizzle with honey or maple syrup, and sprinkle ground cinnamon.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half, pressing lightly to secure the ingredients inside.
  6. Cook in a skillet over medium heat with butter or cooking spray.
  7. Sauté for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve by letting it cool for a minute and cutting into wedges.

Notes

Try adding powdered sugar or whipped cream for garnish. Serve with a refreshing drink.
