Description

Delicious bite-sized churro treats, baked to perfection with wholesome ingredients, perfect for sweet cravings without the guilt.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For coating: 2 tbsp coconut sugar mixed with 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, almond flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Scoop small amounts of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  6. Roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool and enjoy your guilt-free churro bites!
