- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For coating: 2 tbsp coconut sugar mixed with 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, almond flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Scoop small amounts of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls.
- Roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
