- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Fold the dry mixture into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and nuts if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Let them cool before transferring to wire racks.
