Ingredients

- 1 can of peaches in syrup
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Prepare a greased baking dish and pour the batter in, spreading it evenly.
- Layer the peaches (with syrup) on top of the batter without stirring.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before serving to let the juices settle.
