A comforting and easy dessert using canned peaches, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of peaches in syrup
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Prepare a greased baking dish and pour the batter in, spreading it evenly.
  5. Layer the peaches (with syrup) on top of the batter without stirring.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before serving to let the juices settle.
