Description

A luxurious Chocolate Caramel Tart with a gluten-free crust, rich chocolate, and velvety caramel that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (for the caramel)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup dark dairy-free chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a tart pan to prevent any sticky situations.
  2. Mix the almond flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the tart pan evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  4. Whisk together the coconut cream, almond butter, and maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth.
  5. Pour the caramel over the cooled crust. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate and pour it over the caramel layer, spreading it evenly.
  7. Chill again for 1 hour before slicing and serving.
