- 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Combine the mashed bananas and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Blend in the sugar, followed by the beaten egg and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, and stir to incorporate.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Fold in the chocolate chips, creating an even distribution throughout the batter.
- Drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden and the centers are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
