Description

Delicious and easy-to-make cream cheese mints that are perfect for Valentine’s Day and any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Start mixing gently until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour in the peppermint extract and give it another good mix.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until well incorporated.
  4. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls.
  5. Roll each ball in granulated sugar to give it a lovely, sparkly finish.
  6. Place the mints on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow them to set for about 30 minutes.
  7. Once set, store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for best results. Adjust peppermint extract based on your taste preference.
