- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- Food coloring (optional)
- Granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Start mixing gently until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- Pour in the peppermint extract and give it another good mix.
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until well incorporated.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar to give it a lovely, sparkly finish.
- Place the mints on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow them to set for about 30 minutes.
- Once set, store in an airtight container.
Notes
Use softened cream cheese for best results. Adjust peppermint extract based on your taste preference.
