- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Frosting of choice (buttercream recommended)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mixing until well blended.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place them onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Flatten each ball slightly with a glass to give it that classic cookie shape.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Once cool, frost the cookies with your favorite frosting.
