- 1 ½ cups pecan halves
- 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust (or homemade)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup light corn syrup
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Evenly spread the pecan halves in the bottom of the pie crust.
- Whisk together granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth, then pour over the pecans.
- Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the pecan filling and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until filling is set but slightly jiggly.
- Cool completely for at least 2 hours before slicing. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for 3-4 days. Warm before serving for best flavor.
