Description

A delightful blend of pecans and chocolate in a flaky pie crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves
  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust (or homemade)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Evenly spread the pecan halves in the bottom of the pie crust.
  3. Whisk together granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth, then pour over the pecans.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over the pecan filling and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until filling is set but slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool completely for at least 2 hours before slicing. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the fridge for 3-4 days. Warm before serving for best flavor.
