- 1 cup high-quality dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- Heart-shaped silicone mold
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Filling: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the diced strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring gently until the strawberries are soft and syrupy. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, place the dark chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until fully melted and smooth.
- Mold the Chocolate: Using a spoon, pour a tablespoon of melted chocolate into each cavity of the heart-shaped mold. Use the back of the spoon to spread the chocolate evenly across the bottom and sides of the molds.
- Add the Strawberry Filling: Once the chocolate is set for about 10 minutes, add a teaspoon of the strawberry filling in the center of each heart, being careful not to overfill it.
- Seal It Up: Pour more melted chocolate over the strawberry filling to cover it completely. Smooth the top with a spatula and ensure there are no gaps or openings.
- Chill and Set: Place the molds in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes or until the chocolate has fully hardened.
- Pop Them Out: Carefully remove the chocolate hearts from the mold, and behold your beautiful creations!

Serve with whipped cream or as a gift. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
