  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and create a slight well in each cookie.
  8. Fill each well with salted caramel sauce.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, ensuring edges are set and centers remain soft.
  10. Allow cookies to cool slightly before sprinkling with sea salt.
