Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, then roll the balls in granulated sugar to coat.
- Place the cookies onto ungreased pans and flatten lightly.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
