Description

A delightful dessert combining semi-sweet chocolate, crunchy pretzels, and a hint of salty caramel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz pretzels
  • 11 oz Kraft caramel
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Baking Sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring in between.
  3. Spread the Chocolate: Spread about 2/3 of the melted chocolate evenly on the lined baking sheet.
  4. Add the Pretzels: Scatter the pretzels over the melted chocolate and gently press them down.
  5. Prepare the Caramel: In another bowl, combine the Kraft caramels with the heavy cream and microwave for about 2 minutes until melted, stirring until smooth.
  6. Drizzle Caramel: Drizzle the caramel over the pretzels and chocolate mixture.
  7. Finish with Chocolate: Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top of the caramel and pretzels.
  8. Sprinkle with Sea Salt: Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  9. Set and Serve: Chill in the fridge until set, or let it set at room temperature for about 2 hours before cutting into pieces and serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer storage. Consider using parchment paper between layers if refrigerating.
