- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- Juice of 1 orange
- Egg whites from 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Start by melting the chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold in the melted white chocolate, orange zest, and orange juice until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the mousse mixture.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Chill mixing bowls and beaters for better volume. Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
