Description

A delightful brioche loaf swirled with sweet raspberry jam, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the warm milk, softened butter, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  6. After the dough rises, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle.
  7. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the surface of the dough.
  8. Roll the dough tightly to create a log, giving it a twist to make the swirl pattern.
  9. Place the log in a greased loaf pan.
  10. Cover and allow it to rise again for 45 minutes.
  11. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  12. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and enjoy!
