Description

Delightful Raspberry Pastry Twists, perfect for brunch or impressing friends. Sweet raspberry jam and flaky pastry create a delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • ½ cup raspberry seedless jam (or any flavor you love)
  • ¼ cup flour (for dusting)
  • 2 tbsp confectioner’s sugar (optional for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry into a 12 x 16-inch rectangle and cut it in half to create two rectangles.
  4. Spread ¼ cup of raspberry jam evenly on one of the rectangles.
  5. Place the second rectangle on top of the first and press down lightly.
  6. Cut the pastry into ½ inch wide strips and then cut each strip in half lengthwise.
  7. Pinch the ends of each strip and twist them.
  8. Place the twisted pastries on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Chill them in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let them cool slightly on a wire rack and dust with confectioner’s sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with coffee or tea. Drizzle extra jam on the side or garnish with fresh raspberries.
