A delightful dessert combining the classic flavors of tiramisu and the festive presentation of a Yule log.
Ingredients

- 1 cup coffee, brewed and cooled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Chocolate shavings for decoration
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of coffee and let it cool. Add rum or coffee liqueur if desired.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks, then add sugar and vanilla extract, blending well. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese.
- Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and line them up on a platter to form a log shape.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat dipping and layering as desired.
- Cover the log with remaining mascarpone mixture and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
Notes
Make-ahead friendly and can be customized with different flavors. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
