Description

A delightful snack that combines the classic flavors of strawberry shortcake into a fun and crunchy treat, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup strawberry powder (or crushed freeze-dried strawberries)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set it aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and mix until all pieces are coated.
  5. In another bowl, combine the strawberry powder and powdered sugar.
  6. Add the cereal mixture to the strawberry mixture and gently toss until covered.
  7. Spread the coated puppy chow onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cool completely.
  8. Add sprinkles on top if desired.
  9. Once cooled, break the puppy chow into pieces and serve.
