Description

A creamy and flavorful dip combining feta cheese and pumpkin, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz block of feta cheese, drained from brine (220 grams)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
  • 12 Tbsp honey (plus more, to serve)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 2 tsp fresh thyme)
  • Black pepper (freshly cracked)
  • Fresh thyme (for garnish)
  • Chopped walnuts (optional; raw or toasted)
  • Extra honey drizzle
  • Crusty, toasted bread (like sourdough or baguette)
  • Crackers

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the drained feta cheese and Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the pumpkin puree, 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey, thyme, and black pepper. Blend until well combined.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
  4. Serve the whipped feta dip in a bowl, garnished with chopped walnuts, fresh thyme, a drizzle of honey, and additional black pepper.
  5. Enjoy with crusty bread or crackers.

Notes

Taste as you go to adjust sweetness with honey. Great for making ahead of time to enhance flavor.
