Description

These Pistachio Long Donuts are a perfect blend of nutty and sweet flavors, featuring a rich pistachio cream filling and a delightful crunch from kadayif.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pistachio cream
  • 1 cup kadayif (shredded phyllo dough)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Fill the donut pan with batter and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly golden.
  6. Once baked, allow the donuts to cool slightly.
  7. Dip each donut into the melted milk chocolate and roll in kadayif.
