Description

A delightful treat bursting with tropical flavors, these Pineapple Bliss Bars are moist, chewy, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the crushed pineapple and shredded coconut, adding walnuts if desired.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing into squares.
