Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined.
- Optional: Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for a fudgier texture.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, portion out the dough onto the baking sheet and sprinkle the tops with crushed candy canes.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are firm and the centers are slightly soft.
