Description

Delicious bite-sized truffles that capture the rich flavors of pecan pie, perfect for desserts or gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Additional melted chocolate for coating

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, maple syrup, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and a dough-like consistency forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the truffles for 30 minutes to firm them up.
  6. Dip each truffle in melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and then return them to the lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate coating is fully set.
  8. Serve and enjoy this bite-sized piece of sweetness!

Notes

Use good quality chocolate for dipping to enhance flavor. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two weeks or freeze for three months.
