Description

Delightful mini banana breads made with overripe bananas and chocolate chips, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 medium egg
  • 50 grams melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 150 milliliters milk
  • 130 grams self-raising flour
  • 40 grams milk chocolate chips
  • Spray oil or butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed banana, egg, melted butter, honey, and milk until combined.
  3. Add the self-raising flour and three-quarters of the chocolate chips, stirring gently until just combined.
  4. Grease a 12-hole muffin or brownie tin.
  5. Pour the batter into the tin, filling each hole three-quarters full and sprinkling remaining chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake for 18 minutes until golden brown and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before removing from the tin.
