Instructions

  1. Begin by peeling and dicing the mangoes into small pieces. Next, hull and slice the strawberries.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mangoes, sliced strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using). Blend the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Take a moment to taste the mixture. If it’s a bit too sweet or needs a hint of brightness, feel free to adjust with more sugar or lime juice, then blend again briefly.
  4. Pour this vibrant mixture into a shallow freezer-safe dish. Cover it airtight and pop it into the freezer for about 240-360 minutes, or until it’s solid. For the best texture, remember to stir the sorbet every couple of hours to break any ice crystals that may form.
