Description

Delightful and creamy Key Lime Pie layered in mason jars, perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat any time.


Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 7 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup bottled lime juice
  • Zest of 12 limes (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Spoon about two tablespoons of the crumb mixture into the bottom of each mason jar, pressing it down to create a firm base.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and lime zest until fully combined.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until blended.
  6. Spoon a layer of the lime filling over the crust in each jar, repeating layers until the jars are full.
  7. Place filled jars in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set. Garnish with lime zest or whipped cream before serving.
