Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar together until pale and fluffy.
- Add the orange zest and juice to the mixture, followed by the melted butter. Mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
