Ingredients

- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/4 cup sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- To make honey labneh, strain the yogurt in a cheesecloth for 12-24 hours until thick.
- Mix the strained yogurt with honey until smooth and silky.
- In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, orange juice, zest, sugar, and salt.
- Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring continuously.
- Gradually add the cream cheese to the mixture, stirring until it thickens.
- Let both components cool before refrigerating.
- Serve chilled for the best flavors.
Notes
Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for up to a week. The labneh can be frozen, but texture may change.
