- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In one bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until the dough comes together.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into disks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm. Let cool completely.
- Mix the creamy peanut butter with powdered sugar until smooth, then spread on top of each cooled cookie.
- Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate, covering the peanut butter layer completely. Allow excess to drip off.
- Let the cookies sit until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
Experiment with different nut butters or add sea salt on top of the melted chocolate for a unique touch.
