Delicious homemade churro bites filled with rich Nutella, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for coating)
- Nutella (for filling)

- Once boiling, add flour all at once and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the dough cool slightly for a few minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing until the dough is smooth. Finally, stir in the vanilla.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer the dough into a piping bag and pipe small bites into the hot oil, frying until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes).
- Mix the 1/2 cup sugar and ground cinnamon; roll the churro bites in this mixture while warm.
- Fill each churro bite with Nutella using a piping bag.
- Serve warm, optionally with extra Nutella for dipping.
