Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Gradually add in water and melted coconut oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Pinch off small pieces of dough and shape them into bite-sized balls.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the churro bites in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  7. Allow to cool slightly and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh and warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or in the refrigerator for about a week.
