Description

Delicate French crêpes filled with rich chocolate, perfect for a sweet treat or special brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for the filling)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
  • Fresh berries (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease. Pour 1/4 cup of batter, swirling to cover the bottom. Cook for 1-2 minutes, flip, and cook for 30 seconds until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and butter, stirring until melted and smooth.
  4. Place a crêpe on a flat surface, add chocolate filling, and roll tightly.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh berries if desired.
