Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups gumdrops, cut in halves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the Base Ingredients: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips, and unsalted butter, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add Vanilla Extract: Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in Gumdrops: Gently fold in the halved gumdrops.
  5. Transfer to Baking Pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press down lightly.
  6. Let It Set: Cool at room temperature for at least 120 minutes or until firm.
  7. Cut into Squares: Lift the nougat out of the pan and cut into squares.
