Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 drops green food coloring
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    2. In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
    3. Add 1-2 drops of green food coloring and mix until your cookie dough has a vibrant hue.
    4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

<liGradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Don’t overmix.

  • Scoop out dough and roll into balls, then coat each ball with powdered sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and centers look slightly underbaked.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
