Description

A decadent, fudgy flourless chocolate cake that’s perfect for special occasions and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder and salt, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the center is set but still slightly moist.
  7. Let it cool before serving.
