Description

A deliciously moist loaf of bread infused with fresh strawberries and topped with a sweet glaze, perfect for any time of day.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh strawberry puree or juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and milk.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently without overmixing.
  5. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with strawberry puree until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled bread.

Notes
