- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 100 g sweetened condensed milk
- 4 sheets of gelatin
- Food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Grease a 23 cm round cake pan and line with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake completely in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for a few minutes, then gently heat with 2-3 tablespoons of water until dissolved.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the dissolved gelatin, adding food coloring to create the galaxy effect and mixing well.
- Place the cooled cake on a wire rack over a tray and pour the glaze evenly over the cake, letting it drip down the sides. Allow to set.
- Slice and serve your stunning creation!
Notes
Garnish with edible flowers and serve with fresh berries for a delightful touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
