Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup red bean paste (or custard, chocolate, or fruit)
- Butter or oil for greasing the pan
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Preheat a Taiyaki pan and grease it with butter or oil.
- Pour a small amount of batter into the pan, add your chosen filling, and top with more batter.
- Close the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and serve warm.
Notes
Serve warm with powdered sugar, ice cream, or fresh fruits. Customize fillings for a fun twist!
