Description

A rich and decadent torte made with simple ingredients, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (vegan and sugar-free, if desired)
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or sweetener of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine the pecans and shredded coconut to form a fine crust mixture.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan to create the crust, and bake for about 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. While the crust is cooling, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  5. In a bowl, combine the melted chocolate, coconut cream, and maple syrup. Mix until well combined and silky smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set before serving.

Notes

Serve with coconut whipped cream or fresh fruits for added flavor.
