- 1 package of ready-made puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup of chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll it out gently.
- Cut the pastry into squares (about 3-4 inches each).
- Place a small spoonful of chocolate chips in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of each pastry square over the chocolate filling, sealing the edges with a fork.
- Beat the egg and brush the top of each pastry with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
