Description

Indulge in a delicious treat with these wholesome Date Snickers Bars, a guilt-free alternative to classic candy bars made with natural ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the pitted Medjool dates in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Spread the mashed dates evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer peanut butter generously over the dates.
  5. Melt dark chocolate and pour it over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Sprinkle roasted peanuts over the melted chocolate and add a sprinkle of sea salt.
  7. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour, then cut into bars.

Notes

For added variety, swap nuts or add spices like cinnamon. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
