Description

Delightfully light and crispy Danish biscuits paired with a rich chocolate dip, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and milk until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Form small balls of the dough and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly.
  7. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  8. Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  9. Dip one half of each biscuit into the melted chocolate and place them back on parchment paper to set.
  10. Enjoy your decadent biscuits once the chocolate has cooled and hardened.

Notes

For best results, ensure your butter is softened to room temperature and don’t overmix the dough.
