- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cranberries, sliced apples, and half of the brown sugar. Stir gently to mix.
- In another bowl, combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
- Add softened butter to the dry mixture and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in chopped pecans into the crumble mixture.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the fruit in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and fragrant.
- Let it cool slightly before serving warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
