Description

A simple yet irresistible treat of flaky puff pastry twisted with a delightful cinnamon-sugar blend, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 beaten egg for brushing
  • 1 sheet of thawed puff pastry
  • 60g melted unsalted butter
  • 50g white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
  3. Coat the pastry with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  4. Slice the dough into 2.5cm wide strips and twist them.
  5. Brush the twists with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a sweet glaze, mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk or lemon juice and drizzle over pastries.
