- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1 cup chocolate ganache (for dipping)
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and the egg until incorporated.
- Gradually stir in the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped hazelnuts.
- Scoop dough portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dip cookies in chocolate ganache and sprinkle with crushed nuts before serving.
