- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup oats
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, softened butter, and salt. Mix until you have a smooth dough.
- Press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Spread the cherry pie filling over the crust, covering it completely.
- In another bowl, mix the remaining flour, oats, sugar, sliced almonds, and vanilla extract. Crumble this topping over the cherry filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing.
