Ingredients

- 12 oz milk or dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 cup soft baking caramels (melted)
- 1 medium green apple (chopped or thinly sliced)
- 1 cup chopped gluten-free pretzels or nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
- 1/4 cup melted chocolate for drizzle
Instructions
- Soak the apple pieces in a bowl of 1 cup water mixed with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for 5-10 minutes to prevent browning.
- Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate onto a lined baking sheet into a 1/4 inch thick layer.
- Sprinkle crushed pretzels, diced apples, and drizzle with melted caramel and extra melted chocolate.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set, or freeze for the last 20 minutes.
- Once set, break or cut into pieces for serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for fresh taste. Best consumed within 24 hours.
