Description

Quick and easy butterfinger balls combining peanut butter and chocolate for a delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter (avoid all-natural varieties)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup crushed Butterfinger bars
  • 8 ounces chocolate bark or chocolate chips for coating
  • Optional: extra crushed Butterfinger bars, festive sprinkles, coarse sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Mix together softened peanut butter and butter until smooth; add vanilla extract.
  2. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, fold in graham cracker crumbs and crushed Butterfinger bars.
  3. Roll mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt chocolate bark or chips in intervals until smooth.
  6. Dip chilled balls in melted chocolate and top with optional toppings before chocolate sets.
  7. Allow chocolate coating to harden completely before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week, or freeze for longer storage.
